CARE GROUPS
"Praise be to the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." II Corinthians 1:3-4 The Care Groups are about people sharing with friends their victories and their struggles. Each adult Bible study class is organized into smaller groups for support, encouragement and fellowship. Our loving groups are build around friendship as they deepen their relationship with each other and with Jesus Christ.
PRAYER MINISTRY
"My house shall be called a house of prayer for all people" Isaiah 56:7 Our Prayer Ministry is a collection of several ministries of intercession. The Prayer Room is a secure room available for church members to have a quiet environment for prayer. For the entrance code call 281-332-2133. The Prayer Chain is a group of prayer warriors who pray daily for specific requests received from church members. To request prayer call 281-332-2133. Service Watch is comprised of church members who pray during the Sunday morning worship services.

MISSIONS MINISTRY

The Missions Ministry exists to inform church members about worldwide mission opportunities. As we pray, give and go, we demonstrate God's love and bring others to faith in Jesus Christ.

Bay Area First Baptist Church prays for the world as we focus on Christian missionary work through the Southern Baptist Convention. An annual mission offering provides financial resources that fund mission activities. People volunteer to serve in local, state and foreign missions.

Individual Service
We can help you find a place to serve, whether it is with our church or with a local agency.

Group Service
We can help your class find a project and a place to minister.

Mission Trips
Short-term international trips are available each year.

Mission Months
November through January is when our church family focuses on world missions with education and offerings.

Women's Ministry meeting

Women's Ministry

Women's Ministry is dedicated to providing opportunities for women to reach their full potential in Jesus Christ and also enjoy a haven from hectic schedules. We desire to help all women find their place in God's Kingdom through attending Bible studies and special annual events.

Men's Ministry

The objective of Men's Ministry at Bay Area First Baptist Church is to lead men to an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Programs and events are designed to equip men to become Godly leaders in the home, church, workplace and community. As "iron sharpens iron" (Proverbs 27:17), men sharpen one another in monthly breakfast meetings, small groups, annual evening events and mentoring relationships. Men's Ministry activities include:

Occasional Saturday breakfast with guest speaker
Promise Keepers
Small mentoring groups

PASTORAL CARE

The Pastoral Care Ministry of Bay Area First Baptist Church exists to serve our church family in times of need as well as times of celebration.

Bereavement Ministry takes care of the funeral needs of our church members and their family. Meals are often provided as a support to the family.

Hospital Ministry is comprised of our pastoral ministry staff and our deacons who visit ill and injured church members and their immediate family in local hospitals. If you are aware of these type needs, please call our office at 281-332-2133.

Wedding Ministry handles weddings for members and friends of the church. The church provides a minister and coordinator to assist the bride. For information, fees and setting a date, call the church office at 281-332-2133.
