Childcare
During Bible Study and Worship, loving caregivers provide
for preschooler's needs while children in Kindergarten - 5th
grade attend classes and worship designed just for them.
Because children are constantly learning, every time they
attend is an opportunity to teach them about Jesus.
Preschool
Parents should take nursery and preschool children to
the Preschool Welcome Center near the northeast entrance to
the main building.
Because some preschoolers may attend both hours, two
separate curriculums are used to teach Bible truth through
stories, memory verses, games, crafts and directed play.
Children
Children in grades K-5 check in at the Children's Welcome
Center in the Children's Building.
Bible Study for children is at 9:30 AM. At 11:00 AM we offer
age appropriate children's worship at Kidz Zone Worship in
the Kids Commons. This is a great time of Bible teaching,
music, scripture memory, elements of large and small groups,
drama, and yes - FUN!
How do I join Bay
Area?
You may express your desire to join by coming forward to
speak to one of the pastors during the invitation at the
close of each worship service. Of course, any decision
assumes your commitment of being faithful in prayer and
participation in our Lord's work here at Bay Area First
Baptist Church.
 There
are three ways that Bay Area receives people into
membership:
By Profession of Faith and Baptism. If you will
trust Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord, and
follow Him in baptism by immersion, we welcome you into
our fellowship.
By Transfer of Membership. As a baptized believer
whose membership is at another church of like faith, we
will be pleased to welcome you into our church family
should God direct you here.
By Statement. In the event church membership
records are not available for a transfer of membership,
we will accept your statement that you have been
baptized by immersion after salvation.
New Members Class
Every new member receives an overview of church life at Bay
Area that is great for both beginners and mature believers.
Learn what the Bible teaches about salvation, service and
living a Spirit empowered life. Also included are tips on
meaningful prayer, how we can help you reach your full
spiritual potential, and the many ministry opportunities
available at Bay Area First Baptist Church.
This
one-time class for adults meets on Sunday from 9:30 AM to
1:00 PM and is offered six times throughout the year. Lunch
is provided for the entire family. |
