Melissa Lanig Assistant Childrens Ministry	Born June 21 in Galveston, Texas Family includes Mom (Julie), 1 Brother (Chris) and 2 sisters (Michelle, and Rachel) What is one thing you love about BAFBC? The friendliness of the people; All the kids Who is the most influential person in your life? Even though my dad passed away a couple of years ago, his life, along with my mom's, is still influencing mine. What inspires you? I absolutely love the innocence of kids. They are so trusting and loving. Being around them makes me want to be that way. Do you have any hobbies? I spend most of my time reading and babysitting, but I like to clean and cook too. What is your favorite song? I think I would have to pick two. I like "Welcome Home" by Shaun Groves, talking about welcoming God inside to clean up the mess left there by sin, and "Yearn" by Shane and Shane, telling God how much I yearn for Him. Who is the most influential person in your life? My wife, my parents, Dr. John Bisagno and my best friend Jason What inspires you? Challenges!! What is your life long goal? To be a great husband, father and to serve my Lord and Savior! Do you have any hobbies? Backpacking, rock climbling, caving, hunting, fishing.... and about anything else you can do outside! What is your favorite restaurant? Any and everything! What is your favorite childhood memory? Cherie Niscavits Children's Ministry Director	Born November 7 in Houston Husband, John Children – Joe (& Meredith), John Louis, & Ben (Crystin) 1 new grandson, Cru Jacob I first came to BAFBC in March '06 as an "undercover visitor" while considering this position, although I felt connected to the church through BACS. My children attended for many years & I was a "volunteer mom". What is one thing you love about BAFBC? The people! Who is the most influential person in your life? On earth - my mother! I truly look to her as a reflection of Christ - serving others. She works in volunteer ministry to others with my father. They are loving and amazing people! What inspires you? 1. Hugs and smiles from children including simple conversations with them. 2. Helping people find their passion in ministry and seeing them find true joy in serving. Do you have any hobbies? I love to work in the yard - when I have time. I secretly LOVE to spread mulch - really, I do! Favorite Restaurant Olive Garden, Gringo's, Burger House, Szechwan Gardens - as you can see I love to eat - especially what my husband cooks! Our church family’s potential to be used for God’s glory so beautifully and strategically in this generation! Who are the most influential people in your life? My parents! Their selflessness and integrity continue to amaze me. I was also drastically impacted by my former youth minister and several amazing women who have mentored me (although they may not have known it!). What is your life long goal? To really live as a follower of Jesus. I still have everything to learn! Do you have any hobbies? Reading, writing, traveling, watching old movies, hiking, attempting to be crafty…. What is your favorite ice cream?
