Welcome!
Our Life Group name means exactly what it says, As Is. Come as you are! In Luke 5:18-20 Jesus heals a paralytic man. Check it out for yourself:
Luke 5:18-20
18 And behold, some men were bringing on a bed a man who was paralyzed, and they were seeking to bring him in and lay him before Jesus, 19but finding no way to bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down with his bed through the tiles into the midst before Jesus. 20And when he saw their faith, he said, "Man, your sins are forgiven you."
The religious leaders of Jesus' day raised their noses at people like this paralytic. Religion to them meant you looked a certain way, dressed a certain way, talked a certain way, etc. Then came along, "some men", who didn't even raise an eyebrow at this man. They took him to the One who accepts you , "As Is", driven by a faith that has no barriers! What follows is amazing. Jesus changed his life forever!
